What to do with long shipping times
How to handle dropshipping shipping times: ask for days, put the window on the page, and do not promise a faster date.
Ask for days, not a slogan
“Fast shipping” is not a quote. Ask the supplier for a minimum and maximum in days to the countries you will sell to. Record that number before you write the product page.
Put the window where the buyer pays
A week-plus delivery is part of the offer. Say it on the product page, not only in a footer policy. If the window is longer than two weeks, say that before the add-to-cart button.
The idea checker flags those ranges so you do not forget. It does not track live carrier performance.
When the sample is late
If your sample takes longer than the quoted window, update the page before you buy ads. A research page cannot fix a supplier who missed their own date. Pick another supplier or stop the test.
Questions
What is a long ship window?
In the idea checker, more than seven days is a warning to put the window on the page, and more than fourteen days is a warning to say so clearly. Those are disclosure rules, not delivery guarantees.
Can I advertise a faster ship date than the supplier gave me?
No. Publish the window the supplier confirmed. A faster promise is how refunds start.
