How to compare two dropshipping supplier quotes

Compare two dropshipping supplier quotes on landed cost, ship days, and whether each one delivers to your country.

Use the same variant and the same country

Ask each supplier for four numbers on one variant, shipped to one country: product cost, the shipping you pay, processing days before the carrier has the parcel, and transit days after that. A quote for a different color, size, or country is a different offer.

Write down whether they will ship to that country. A slogan about fast shipping is not a quote, and a product photo is not a ship window.

Add what you pay before you compare the days

Landed cost is the product cost plus the shipping you pay. Compare that total, then compare processing days plus transit days. A lower product cost with expensive freight can land higher than the other quote.

The free supplier comparison on this site adds those figures from the numbers you type. It keeps a supplier who will not serve the country out of the running, even when that quote looks cheaper.

Take the quote you keep into the idea checker

This comparison stops at cost, days, and country coverage. Open the product idea checker with the product cost, the shipping you pay, and the total ship days, then add the price you want to charge. Mark whether the other supplier can still ship, so the backup is written down.

When you have a price and an ad cost, the profit calculator shows what a sale leaves. A free account can save the quote in a launch workspace. Pro raises the number of saved workspaces. Checkout opens after the account exists.

Questions

Which price do I compare first?

Compare what you pay. Landed cost is product cost plus the shipping you pay. The customer price comes next, in the idea checker, after the ship window is known.

What if one supplier will not ship to the country?

That quote is out for this destination. A lower product cost does not make the order deliverable. Ask for another country or another supplier.

Does the comparison rank supplier quality?

No. It uses the cost, days, and country answer you enter. Order a sample of the quote you keep before you scale an ad. The public page does not store the quote.
